2024 MAP Recap: A Growing Program (and Portfolio)

Having mere weeks left in a year tends to serve as a catalyst for reflection, and we’d be remiss if we didn’t seize this opportunity to share what’s happened in our Market Ambassador Program (MAP) in 2024. The past year has brought new members in new markets, a new portfolio company, new memories, and new goals for 2025.
New Members and Markets
Developed as a means of increasing Great Range Capital’s visibility in the Heartland, ramping up acquisition activity, and expanding our growing portfolio, MAP taps distinguished Midwest-region executives to represent the firm in their communities and networks. MAP executives have planted their roots and built their careers in cities throughout the Midwest. Covering a wide range of backgrounds and industries, our Market Ambassadors are highly esteemed for their expertise and career accomplishments.
This year, we had the honor of welcoming seven new Market Ambassadors:

It’s impossible to express (at least in a succinct manner) what MAP adds to GRC, but this year, we have the pleasure of sharing one very tangible contribution: Market Ambassador Mark Fenner of Columbia, Missouri, introduced us to the founders and operators of one of our most recent acquisitions, Citadel Security USA, which offers manned guarding, event security, and patrol services to various sectors in Colorado, Missouri, and Iowa.
New Memories and Goals
In October, our Market Ambassadors and executive team convened in the Windy City to discuss the year ahead, with breaks for excellent food and even an architectural boat cruise.
“We’re excited to continue to grow MAP in 2025,” says Matt Stranz, GRC’s Managing Director of Business Development. “Our plans include implementing a collaborative platform that will allow for more effective and efficient communication for our Market Ambassadors, as well as a resource center for all things GRC. We will continue looking to add depth to our existing markets while subsequently considering new ones for entry.”
If you think you might be a good fit for the MAP or would like to recommend someone else, please contact Matt at 913-389-7851 or matt.stranz@greatrangecapital.com for more information.
