Great Range Capital’s Larry Flanagan and Philip Scheuerman Promoted to Principal

There are a handful of significant events that occur every four years: the Olympic Games; U.S. presidential elections; and now, another well-deserved promotion for Larry Flanagan and Philip Scheuerman. In the summer of 2021, they were elevated to the position of Vice President. Four years later, we’re pleased to announce that they’ve both been promoted to the role of Principal.

A former intern, Larry officially joined the Great Range Capital team as an Associate in 2016 after working as an Analyst in the Consumer Products and Retail Investment Banking Group at UBS in New York City. While at GRC, Larry has been responsible for the origination, diligence and execution of investment opportunities and currently sits on the boards of four portfolio companies: FairWave, Synetic, America’s Best Carpet & Tile, and GPI. He also previously served as an Officer in the Army National Guard.

Philip started his career at KPMG in Washington, D.C., moving up the ranks to Senior Associate before becoming an Analyst in the Healthcare Investment Banking Group at Piper Jaffray in Minneapolis, MN, and then an Associate at McCarthy Capital in Omaha, NE. Since joining GRC as an Associate in 2018, Philip has led the execution of platform acquisitions, bolt-ons and portfolio company dispositions. He currently sits on the boards of Salon Service Group, Citadel Security USA, and College Coaches Skills Camp.
