Michael J. Shonka Joins Great Range Capital’s Market Ambassador Program

Shonka to assist in building the Kansas City private equity firm’s presence in Wichita, KS

Wichita, KS. Great Range Capital (GRC) announces that Michael J. Shonka has joined its Market Ambassador Program (MAP). Mr. Shonka plays an active role in building GRC’s presence throughout Wichita, KS and helps identify acquisition opportunities for the firm.

GRC developed its unique Market Ambassador Program (MAP) to increase its visibility in Wichita, KS, ramp up acquisition activity and expand its growing portfolio. Distinguished Midwest-region executives are invited to join the MAP and represent GRC in their communities and networks. MAP executives, like Mr. Shonka, have planted their roots and built their careers in cities throughout the Midwest. They are highly-esteemed for their expertise and career accomplishments.

Mr. Shonka currently serves as a director for a large aerospace company and a small custom metal business. He has served as a director for public, private equity and family/employee-owned businesses. His corporate governance roles have included membership on audit, compensation, special litigation and independent directors committees. He also provides consulting services, principally for strategic planning, performance improvement, and business transaction purposes.
