Ron Rice Joins Great Range Capital’s Market Ambassador Program


Rice to assist in building the Kansas City private equity firm’s presence across the Midwest

Great Range Capital (GRC) announces that Ron Rice has joined its Market Ambassador Program (MAP). Mr. Rice plays an active role in building GRC’s presence throughout the Midwest and helps identify acquisition opportunities for the firm.

GRC developed its unique Market Ambassador Program (MAP) to increase its visibility in the Heartland, ramp up acquisition activity and expand its growing portfolio. Semi-retired, distinguished Midwest-region executives are invited to join the MAP and represent GRC in their communities. MAP executives, like Mr. Rice, have planted their roots and built their careers and families in cities throughout the Midwest. They are highly-esteemed for their expertise and career accomplishments.

Mr. Rice was part of the initial start-up team that built one of the world’s largest .com development organizations, MarchFirst/Whittman-Hart.  Based in Chicago, the company grew from a handful of technical professionals to over 14,000 in 47 cities and 14 countries.  Mr. Rice created and ran both the sales and professional recruiting functions for the entire organization until his retirement in 1998.  The company’s public offering in 1995 was one of NASDAQS “10 best”.  Over his 40-year career working with many of the world’s largest corporations, Mr. Rice has leveraged his professional relationships to bring together people, ideas, and capital to help grow ideas into profitable businesses across many industries.  In his latest venture, Mr. Rice founded Patient Preferred Financial Services (www.patientpreferredservices.com) to help make great healthcare affordable.  Today the company provides innovative payment plans to health care providers in 23 states.  Mr. Rice is also the author of “Building Relationships that Last a Lifetime” which has sold over 80,000 copies worldwide.  He continues to train/mentor sales organizations and executive leaders around the world on the importance of recruiting and developing great people to implement great ideas.
